That claim was wrong. The way Alamo solved this is rated: Comment: The car had no problem when I return it (controlled by two persons of the europcar team) but they claimed for damage some days after. I sent a mail to explain that the car was not damaged when I return it. Despite this they sent me a invoice for damage (1800rands) 2 weeks later, I refuse to pay explaining the facts again in a mail, I don't received any responses to may mails, but I am anxious about my credit card. There were some issues when dropping of the car at Alamo: no receipt. The way Alamo solved this is rated: Comment: When I Dropp off the car, the persons who controlled the car did not want to give me any paper or receipt attesting the car have been returned in good way (as it is often done in other countries). They only said 'there is no problem you take your plane'. I think such document should be necessary to recover confidence in such rental office.
