Dropping off the car
There were some issues when dropping of the car at Alamo: I had bought and paid new tires and Alamo charged me for the tires by mistake and it took an awful long time to have the money returned.. The way Alamo solved this is rated: 1

Comment about other issues when picking up the car: The pickup desk was in another terminal. As a result, we had to pull heavy cases a long way, including going outside. I resented having to return the car empty. No one will want to risk running out of petrol, and will therfore ensure that there is petrol left in the car. This is to the rental company's advantage and is an unethical practice, in my view. In addition, the car was located a long way from the airport. The shuttle bus was slow to arrive. The driver was rude and unhelpful

Comment about other issues when picking up the car: May be the rain was an issue, but Here are the keys and there is the car is a bit short. Certainly when you are used to drive on the right side of the road far over 500.000 miles. A continental driver is far better off in a continental car in Ireland, than in an Irish car. Judging distances to left and right. Now we have to think the other way around

Comment: Judging to get to the drop off the car on the last drop of petrol is not good. Rent a car with a full tank and pay for a full tank at arrival. I drove around the airport three times (poor indicating and send the wrong direction too) before I got to the spot where I picked it up. Everything closed. Later a security man guided me to the drop off spot in the garage under one of the buildings.
