Comment about other issues when picking up the car: On inspection of car accompanied by staff (Norah) we found car had dents and scratches all over the body. I was told it would take about 1hour to clean a car without damages. I choose to go with the scratches. I think attempts should be made by the company to keep dents and scratches at the minimum by repairing or trading in vehicles.

The rental office from Europcar was not open when we arrived. The way Europcar solved this is rated:
Comment: The office was closed on a Sunday around 10:00 a.m. There is provision to drop the vehicle keys. I would have preferred opportunity to check the vehicle for damages and full tank status with the staff.

Comment about other issues when picking up the car: Although I had a prepaid voucher AVIS in Zambia did not appear to understood or care, They recharged the rental at $88 per day and bizzarely, insisted on charging at the erroneous rate. Totally incredible! What happened to the coupon? Pleasant service, but overcharged. Too much. We hope AVIS Euorpe corrects this error, otherwise I do not know whether or not I will end up renting a $million as the rental agreement is totally oblique in Zambia. AVIS is international and that is the reason for choosing it. What has gone wrong?

Comment about other issues when picking up the car: attempt by the company to issue me a car instead of the pickup I ordered....they said because my flight was 2 hours late they had issued the vehicle out already although 3 other pickups were on the lot.....I objected and showed the online voucher as well as the printed voucher (which did not print correctly due to a formatting issue) and they issued me the correct vehicle. The total cost for one week was almost 900 USD as the fine print about mileage being charged at .4 USD per KM was not readily noticeable.
