Comment about other issues when picking up the car: The car requested was actually offered as a different model and I was somewhat annoyed the lady was agressive to upsell to a more expensive model.
Dropping off the car
There were some issues when dropping of the car at Alamo: comment below. The way Alamo solved this is rated: 1
Comment: I took ill while in Arizona and returned the car several days early. As well I had an expensive camera valued at over $1000 stolen from the car while I was loading it at a hotel near the Grand Canyon. I could get no assistance from Alamo on either issue and although I was taking Oxygen at thier desk no help from Alamo . I was told its Holiday's problem . It was very disappointing and being ill I couldn't wait to require additional help from higher authority at Alamo.

Comment: As commented above with no assistance available from Alamo it seemed unlikely I could get assistance from Alamo to claim a loss after the fact . Likewise on the unused value of the rental Alamo said its a contract price so no refund from us or Holiday.

We would rent a car from Alamo again.
Comment: I think Alamo could have been more helpful to me in this situation. The rental setup at Phoenix is miles from the airport and it seems to me that Alamo have absolutely no provision for helping Customers in a stressful situation and when we returned to their office thir was only 1 staff member and she was busy arguing with a Customer over their bill and as a result we were delayed 40 minutes and did not even have time to make a proper claim or we would have missed our flight . I do not believe that Alamo are so poor at every airport but in Phoenix they certainly seem to have no help for sick or ill Customers . I probablywould deal with them at other USA locations if their price was competitive.

Comment: It was not totally clear how I could contact Holiday in this situation and recive help with a claim for lost goods and rental .Unfortunately I had no time when it would have been most appropriate. I could not risk further delay in returning to Canada in my health condition. Nevertheless I found the Holiday system worked well as to price and contract
