Booking the car The website of HolidayCars did not give enough information or the information is not correct. Rating: 1 There was a problem with this information: pickingup place. Comment: If the company has not an office in the airport it would have to be clearly said. I lost two hours and I had to pay extra money for picking up. The voucher and the confirmation mail received from HolidayCars after booking the car did not provide sufficient and correct information. The way Alamo solved this is rated: 1 Comment: I had to wait two hours and I had to pay extra cash. HolidayCars was contacted immediately and their mediation is rated: 3 Comment: They sent me for the second time the driver with my car, so I had to wait ONLY two hours. As they don't have office in the airport, phone was the only way to contact them. The staff at the pick-up office of Alamo was friendly and helpfull: 1 Comment about other issues when picking up the car: He was angry because he hat to come twice to the airport (first time, we didn't find one another -they don't have office), and he didn't write any bill for the extra cash. General judgement Value for money: 2 The service Alamo delivered: 2 We wouldn't rent a car from Alamo again. Comment: I think they conceal the fact they don't have office in the airport. Actually, this is not a problem if service is ok, but it was not. I looked all over the airport and nobody knew nothing about Alamo. At the end, I called Alamo in Holland (I think) and they solved it, two hours later, paying an incredibly expensive international call and finally I had to pay extra cash because it was the second time the driver came to the airport.
