Comment: They did not ask about country of my living. My permanent residency is in Czech Rep., but I live in Copenhagen where I work. I wrote my residency in Czech, but when I came to the Sixt, they did not give me the car, because I pay danish taxes now so it has to be danish address. But on their website was not written anything about this. I had to claim this many times through email until they gave me my money back (at least something). I did not get back around 20% what I paid.

Comment about other issues when picking up the car: The SIXT office was very understaffed and there was along queue and a long wait - 20+ minutes. This was possibly because the SIXT computer system was down but - given we had booked a long time before- the wait was annoying. Also, they said they would email me the agreement/return details when the system was up again and they didn't. I had to call from the north of Denmark days later to get them to send me this info, and it was difficult because of poor phone connection and lack of easy access to the documentation info they needed.

Comment: It was a business trip and I needed a prestigious car. That's why I accepted the rate of 440 euros. I got another car (passat instead of class e mercedes) I was totally disappointed but had no choice. I will never use Budget nor Cartrawler again. Really bad experience!
Ordered extra's (child seats, roof racks, navigation, ...) were not present when the car was picked up and Budget did not solve this immediately. This solution is rated:
